Metaverse 2018 Roadmap

Metaverse has and will continue to follow the overall development path outlined in our white paper. In 2017, we focused on developing digital assets and digital asset exchange capabilities, with two major version releases (v0.6.0 and v0.7.0) and twelve minor version releases (0.6.1-0.6.10, and 0.7.1-0.7.2).

Baofeng Bokocloud and Metaverse Announce Strategic Partnership

Baofeng Group (Shenzhen Stock Code: 300431) subsidiary Beijing Baofeng Xinying Technology signed a strategic partnership with Metaverse on 25 December 2017. As strategic partners, both parties will jointly research and develop the Blockchain Consensus Network (BCN) as well as Blockchain-as-a-Service architecture, with the aim of expanding blockchain technology applications. According to the terms of the partnership, Metaverse will provide technical support for full nodes for Baofeng Bokocloud and assist with upgrades to their consensus mechanism and incentive model. Baofeng Xinying will also be appointed as an honorary member of the Metaverse Foundation, and help enrich the Metaverse ecosystem with resources built on the BCN. Metaverse Foundation & Acute Angle Cloud Form Strategic Partnership

The Metaverse Foundation and global distributed IaaS platform Acute Angle Cloud have formally announced a strategic partnership to jointly build an interconnected digital asset platform. Acute Angle Cloud is a global, distributed IaaS platform built on the foundation of the Acute Angle Chain, IPFS protocol and Acute Angle PC. The Acute Angle Cloud will be iteratively improved upon through the Acute Angle Chain, Acute Angle Cloud 1.0 and Acute Angle Cloud 2.0. The Acute Angle Cloud will position itself as a “Distributed Cloud Ecosystem” and aims to develop distributed cloud storage, public blockchains and hardware systems.
